Coach Keith Gorman
Head Baseball Coach
Keith Gorman completed his fourth year as the Barton Head Baseball Coach in 2023. As Bulldogs’ coach, Gorman has compiled a record of 87-78 mark with the school in four seasons.
The 2023 season was a special one for the Bulldogs. Gorman led the team to a second-place finish in the extremely difficult Conference Carolinas. The 2023 team compiled a record of 30-20 – its more victories in four years – with a top ten national strength of schedule.
Under Gorman’s tutelage, Tanner Halvorson was named the 2023 Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Year and broke the school’s NCAA-era single-season record for wins (11) and complete games (10).
Gorman became Bulldogs’ mentor after leading Cumberland County (N.J.) College to the 2019 NJCAA Division III National Championship this past May. For his efforts, Gorman was named the 2019 ABCA/Diamond National Coach of the Year for NJCAA Division III.
Gorman led the Dukes to a 47-5 record in 2019 and sported a career mark of 316-91 (.776) after eight seasons at the helm for CCC. The 2017 squad went 55-8 on the season, ranked No. 1 in the nation and finished third at the College World Series while the 2014 team (49-10) was the national runner-up.
